Class sucks! It is very boring material. He gives boring lectures, but how could he not with the material he goes over? Class is in a computer lab, so you don't have to pay attention and he goes directly from the book. So just buy and book and highlight and you'll be fine.

I am still trying to figure out why I was required to take this class. Prof Gemereth is a great guy and he really tries with the material, but this course just sucks. I recommend the prof, dont recommend the course.

Pretty easy class in general. Those who say your grade is based on very few assignments are true, but the assignments are easy and you just need to go to class to make sure you get them. Usually get out at least an hour early for 6-9 class :)
