Volpe is a character. On the one hand, he's a funny guy, laid back, and knows his stuff. On the other, in a Media Planning class, we didn't learn how to write a Media Plan...Tests aren't bad if you can read the charts. They're always open book.

Very Sarcastic, trys to be funny, works sometimes.3 exams.He gives you every question and how to answer it before the exam, never understood how people did poorly(!?).There is no work in this class.none.Take notes or remember what he says, the whole class is common sense. Got an A-.

Attention all nerds, or people who care about their GPA: Do not let this prof fool you when he lets you use books for tests. He grades really hard and is not clear when teaching. He doesn't even have enough grades for margin of error. Just because he is funny doesn't mean you'll keep those good grades. Everyone else on these reviews are idiots!!

Great guy. Funny as hell. Hes very opinionated and upfront about everything but thats what makes him great. Good conversations in class and definately knows his stuff about advertising. take his classes, but just dont mention PR around him. Also make him show the cat advertisement

i love volpe. class is laid back, hardly any assignments. He's hilarious-great sense of humor- as long as you don't mind hearing the same jokes over and over. Exams are difficult- a different format than most. Make sure you know how to apply all the information when given an actual advertising situation. He's definitely worth taking.

Phenomenal class...this guy loves starting trouble, and it makes the class more fun if you argue with him. I refused to accept anything he said, and challenged him all the time. He loved it. Not only did we learn advertising, but talked about current events as well. Took this as a summer class, and he made the month go by so fast. Take him.

this guy is CRAZY! his "jokes" are dry and dumb (so dumb that you can't help but laugh)- just nod and smile. you learn a lot without realizing that you are learning. he will tyr to get a reaction out of you by saying some non-PC things, i loved it.
