Hands down the best professor at Bentley. You play games every class and learn more in this class than nearly all other Bentley classes thanks to professor Putney. I had this class Friday morning and I would enjoy waking up to go to class after a long night at Brogans. You must study for a good grade, but trust me, you will have fun studying.

i made an account here going into second semester senior year because i want you to know this guy is the bees knees. manageable pop quizzes every tuesday on a bit of reading. gives a good study guide for tests. jeopardy and other games literally every class which are fun and educational. interesting assignments. so generous. and i could go on & on

Best professor I've had since coming to Bentley. Super considerate about everything and he makes the class really easy. First day of the week is a 10 question MC quiz and a game, and Friday is a Jeopardy review game. Everyone does a presentation + paper. Easiest 4.0 I've ever had

TAKE HIM!!!! this guy is the man, you learn in games every class and theyre fun and easy. tests he tells you whats going to be on them all you have to do is learn it. quizes every week, i never read and did well on them. have a class project and everyone in the class gets an A. Hes hilarious and actually makes history fun

Professor Putney is a must take. Hes very knowledgeable and the class is very fun. You play a game like jeopardy almost every class. It's a very fun way to easily learn the content. Quiz every Tuesday but they aren't bad and he gives you a chance to to make up for bad grades. One of the best professors at Bentley.

PUTNEY IS THE MAN!!!! There's reading assignments each night, but they're not even bad. Learning is actually because we play jeopardy every single class and he gives you candy! You have one presentation that almost everyone gets an A on. I never liked history until I took this class, now and I actually LOVE going. If you can, take this class!

Best history teacher ever. Keeps you interested and makes class fun. You learn through playing history themed games such as jeopardy and match game. Has a bunch of quizes that are basically grade boosters. Attendance isn't really mandatory, but I don't know why someone wouldn't want to go to his class. Would take again.
