I took physical chemistry: thermodynamics from him. He is good hearted and is willing to help when you approach him during office hours. The only way to do well in his class is know what you are supposed to know from general chemistry and study what you don't know in both general and physical chemistry.

Took his Gchem class coming into college. Quizzes/Tests were FAIR but challenging and a good application of the knowledge youre SUPPOSED to get. I have one major complaint-- he stressed the syllabus, but when final grades came out it didn't seem to follow a rule in his syllabus (80% of points is an A-) I got 88% of points and still an A-. No sense.

I agree with the other students in that he is very difficult. However, his class is do-able. Put in a good effort and you will be fine, and when you pass you'll be even more satisfied knowing that you did well in such a difficult class.

Super hard quizzes and tests. However he evens out with easy tests and quizes. He is good at explaining math related questions, but not so much in concepts. He is helpful when you ask.
