Comment:

Very friendly and caring professor. She gives 3 2-page straightforward writing assignments and 4 tests with short answer questions and a MC final. Lowest test grade is dropped. Exam material comes straight from the notes she makes for you on the overhead. She encourages participation in class but does not require it. Strongly recommended.

Her class is easy, but don't take her more than once, you'll find that your notess for 1000C will pretty much be sufficient for you to pass any test she ever gives...Everything on the test is straight from the notes, there are no surprises, she likes to make you print out this horrendously long articles though and the library will be annoyed at you

Taking notes is a must, but not to worry because she uses an overhead projector that will have all the notes you'll need. She also writes down the things she says in class about the topics. She assigns books, but it's no biggie if you don't read them because the exams are all on the notes. Her quizzes are essay format w/a matching/definition/fill in the blank section (about five questions). Her final is all multiple choice. Nice person and extremely willing to help as long as you're putting in effort.
