Comment:

One of the hardest professors I've had but one of the best, she pushes you to achieve more and really prepares you for the professional world. She is tough but very fair. She is a model of what college professors should be.

She is hard as hell, but one of the most interesting people to learn from at Elon. She loves what she does and hopes you will be interested in it too. Once you get past her regular class she is much more open. You'll have to work your ass off, and sometimes she doesn't communicate what she wants very clearly, but it's worth all the work.

There are a lot of group and individual assignments (some are interesting and some aren't). Sometimes I think she doesn't realize her students have other classes besides her's. While I have learned, she does direct the class toward what she is interested in and requires students to do research on those topics.

Connie is one of the toughest professors in the School of Comm. that being said she is one of the best. Had her twice, and while they were similar classes I learned more about Comm. theory and basics than anywhere else. Kind of cold while you're in her class, keeps her distance, but really nice when you're finished if she liked you.

This woman. Oh my god. She made me want to slam my head through the walls of mcewen just so i wouldn't have to listen to her talk. She is NOT smart. Yes, she knows a bit about tv shows, but she cannot write (her text is a joke) and she cannot teach for the life of her. Her technology information is ridiculous. Avoid this plague of a woman.

She knows a TON about the broadcasting industry. The course contents were interesting, but she is incredibly intimidating with her strict grading. You MUST keep up with reading and paper due dates because she never reminds the class until the day before it's due. She likes to give lots of group assignments.
