Ms. Fox gets a bad wrap because she is straight to the point and doesn't mess around, which I appreciate. If you make an effort she will notice and your grade will reflect accordingly. Her directions and expectations are very clear and you can tell she LOVES what she does! She is ALWAYS prepared and organized, gives good feedback. Taking her again

Never received higher than a 80% on lab reports despite doing EXACTLY what was asked; extremely particular about the way in which you word things so much so that it comes down to grammar. Quizzes are over lab lecture, but are timed so you may not finish in given time which lowers grade. Talk to other chem professors for help. Don't take her lab.

Comment:

Ms. Fox definitely taught a good lab lecture class. I did not have her for any other chem class but lab lecture, and even though i liked her in lab lecture, i don't think i would want to be in her lab. The quizzes she gives are sort of unfair, but if you study you will be ok. She is serious about chemistry and i LOVE the powerpoints she constructs.

I had Ms. Fox for my chem lab in C125 and C126. She is fantastic! She knows who really tries and who does not, and if you put in effort, she will help you succeed. She was the reason I kept pushing myself my first semester of college. DEF recommend.

This is for the lab portion in chem 105. She is very great at clarifying what is going to happen in lab that week. Her quizzes are easier some weeks and harder other weeks. DO NOT LEAVE LAB LECTURE EARLY WITHOUT TALKING TO HER. I had a doctor appointment and after the quiz I left. She basically ran after me and was quite rude.

She was very helpful outside of class, taught the material very well, and seemed to enjoy what she does. Daily quizzes were no problem if you actually studied for them. Her grading scale was lenient with an 89% being an A, plus she dropped quizzes and gave extra opportunities to raise a grade. Was very forgiving grade-wise. Overall, great!!!!!
