Comment:

Structure of class was completely unorganized, content taught was boring and outdated. Test's full of trick questions and based off of pictures that were shown in a lecture for 3 seconds. Barely used the textbook assigned. Took long time to respond to Q's. This class was a missed opportunity to actually learn and get excited about furn history.

Comment:

she is a very understanding teacher, especially to international student. she doesn't give a huge amount of homework, and grade fairly. many field trips. exactly know how to introduce the interior design field by lectures, inviting professionals to give lectures, and selecting interesting and funny videos to watch.

Connie favors certain students and waits for the final critique to tell you what you what you're missing. Offers terrible feedback during the course and tells you you're doing great. End of the quarter she gives you a very low score. She's terrible at responding and is very outdated with her designs. She may have been good in the early 60s.

Okay, I am pretty sure I had left a comment here before but it must have gotten deleted I feel terrible that I am taking yet another class from her and frankly, I fear for my life. I have to take two more classes and I just know no matter what, all my hard work is going to be not acknowledged and will likely end up getting an average. again.

Poor communication, slow to grade, old lectures & poor quality images, sings and makes jokes during lectures, too much trivia, trick questions on tests, out-of-date study guide. Assignments can be completed almost entirely without listening to the lectures, and tests can be passed adequately without lectures by independent studying and research.

Lazy lectures, Reads from a book. Vague help for tests. Insulting to students, sings during lecture (unprofessional) out of date lectures, old and have not been updated, navigating site difficult, teaches nothing-only regurgitates someone else's work, overloads information to bombard with busy work, won't teach for test, unclear how to prepare

I'm sorry to admit she is the kind of teacher that I never want to experience again.Her teaching method,course management,delivery & helpfulness were extremely poor.She was always vague about what she expected us to do.Despite her low teaching quality she's an unfair & tough grader.I’m wondering why BC uses her despite many complains from students.

This class was an unfortunate experience. The instructor was unprepared for critique and guidance, she is unfamiliar with modern design tools, and she didn't seem to put any effort in structuring the class. I'm disheartened that this was my last class experience in the program.

All students' ve complained about her lectures, unhelpful crits, unorganized schedule, and unclear grading system. It wasn't even once. We had the final presentation in a hallway because she couldn't book any classroom for us. She has been ignoring our email about the question of the final grade. If she can't explain why, then how did you grade??

Wow. If you're expecting this class to be an easy-A think again. The weekly modules are manageable, but the exams are terrible. The slides are mostly terrible quality, the questions are ambiguous and some of the questions even have the wrong slide associated with them. Connie is a very tough grader with unclear expectations.

Connie is very knowledgeable of the material. But unfortunately it is not delivered in clean fact of academic "get to the point". I will be seeking to take those class else where to transfer in. The projects are not education busy decorating.
