Had him for CS488 Networks online class. Very helpful and quick responses via email. Midterm and final required in-person at NYC campus. He follows the book and companion website VERY closely. Difficult class, but not too bad if you keep up w/all the assignments. I would take a class w/him again.

Comp. Security - tough class. Lotta memorization, so be prepared to drill yourself endlessly. Midterm and final worth 90% of your grade. If you're totally committed to this class, you will learn a lot. Helpful, sincere professor, very good with math and networking. I only wish he expected less memorization of the textbook and more creative thinking.

His lectures are SO boring...he kept on talking about computer security instead of teaching us how to do excel, html...etc what the hw was based on... such a drag going to his class. It's pointless. I had to go to the tutoring center every week to get the hw done.. argh

He will make you work hard. The first 3 homework assignments will take you hours and hours imagine doing des encryption and decryption by hand. But I can say I know it now. He covered all 20 chapters in the book. He curves at the end which is nice. We spent alot of time going over galois fields for AES but were never tested on it.

Thought he would be good prof for online CS634 based on prior ratings...wrong! Making us travel to NYC for an in-person final for an online class! Rude and unhelpful when emailed questions. Simply posted homeworks/labs on BB and (textbook author's) PowerPoints. No guidance or direction at all. Never taking an online class at Pace again after this!

If you really want to learn something, take him; especcially if you're planning on going into networking field. He's as good as they get for datacom classes. Explaing material clearly, LOTS of HW, should do well on tests. Planning on taking him for CS633
