I took the class for an easy grade booster, not going to lie. I went in with prior knowledge of Russian history, however, it didn't help much. He jumped around all over the place, often "taught" class off of google image search, and when he gave quizzes, he would ask to put people in chronological order, despite not teaching in that manner.

Pleshakov is one of the best professors I've had at Mount Holyoke. He's smart and engaging and genuinely cares about what you have to say. He also gives you life lessons randomly and always makes class very interesting; there is never a boring moment. He is also a very reasonable grader and is always there to help.

Super easy, but clearly super brilliant. Love that he's teaching a class on Harry Potter and LoTR. He's hilarious and smart and his class makes me happy. Obviously, he's also gorgeous. I wish I'd taken a class with him before my senior year!

I used to wonder why this guy was still a visiting assistant professor after 10 years at the college. (I mean, really, is he still "visiting", or is it fair to say that he lives here?) Now I know why. He's a terrible professor. This class was a complete waste of time. Not intellectually challenging at all. Nice earring, though.

I took history of the Romanovs with him and wow, love him. I think it should be a requirement to take a class by Pleshakov to graduate. He's hilarious, he's engaging, very respectful and loves hearing what students have to say. He's also very understanding and easy going, very easy to talk to. Definitely take a class with him!!!

Pleshy is such a dreamboat. His lectures are fun and he loves what he does. I absolutely LOVE this man's classes! I'm only a firstie but have taken two classes with him. He is very open to anything you have to say and makes our assignments fun. Writing essays for his class are extremely entertaining and worthwhile. I absolutely recommend that you take a class with him!!
