Corey is such a passionate professor, which makes it a pleasure to be in his class! He is super helpful in his office hours, and creates study guides with subjects that will be on the test. Hes a funny guy, and before tests hell do review sessions and have extra office hours. Great guy!

I feel priviledged to have had Corey for bio. He's so smart and the most engaged teacher in the lecture material because he genuinely loves his research. Expect his lectures to require a lot of note-taking and listening. He's very clear.

Very enthusiastic, the readings were mostly to give you examples needed for the exam (lots of writing), the rest were from lecture~ so listen. I don't like ecology or population biology, but he made it sound interesting

If you like to understand how something works from all angles, ask Corey to explain it to you. Something about the way he explains things makes them so easy to understand. Even if evolution and ecology is your least favorite part of Bio, this will be your favorite part of the intro class. He's awesome.

Corey is an engaging man who has a wonderful sense of humor. Though i didn't have much of an interest in evolutionary and ecological biology, he made it enjoyable and amusing enough for me to survive it. He would be a wonderful professor if you had an interest in his subject manner.

Amazing Professor. Truly one of the best I have ever had. He has inspired me to persue evolutionary biology. Just take a class from him. His office is always open. He had me over for pizza and bird banding. his passion for what he dose is inspiring. Truly an incredible man!
