I feel like I didn't learn much from his lectures. He was always jumping from one thing to another. The only reason I passed was teaching myself the material when I got home. This class is not the type to cram and pass. Study at least a week before an exam. Read your textbook and make quizlet your best friend.

Professor Baker's class was really not that hard. He makes the class very entertaining and the material interesting. The two big projects he gives out are easy as long as you don't procrastinate (he has deadlines to keep you on track/give feedback). YOU HAVE TO STUDY for tests.. not cram the night or two before but like actually study. Def take tho

Professor Baker's class was tough but it was an interesting class. Prof. Baker was a calm and nice professor but make sure you do not have your cell phones in class and are not late. His tests were tough in which he did give you a study guide for each but you better read the book and go over it in class. The labs were fun and the IRP was not hard.

Prof. Baker I find to be a very direct but nice guy. He clearly states in the beginning of the expectations he wants for students. I've never found him funny at all if anything it was his awkwardness that made me laugh. I would recommend another professor if anything his TA SAVED and HELPED me learn more than he ever did. Worry about the exams.

recommend. pp lectures every class, 3 pop quizzes in semester which he told us when they were and what there on. 3 exams, they were hard honestly. final is cumulative and definitely the hardest exam. Use the study guide in studying. IRP is easy, just get everything done fast and on time so you have time to ask for help if needed. he's funny

Prof Baker is a good teacher. His exams are difficult and somewhat ambiguous, depending on the content. The papers are intense if Research/Methods is not easily grasped. I liked the class but found it to be hard. The lectures were detailed - the Power Point's were easy to follow and concise. While I had challenges, I would take him again.

If you want to be treated like a high school and have no clear direction, then take him. I regret taking him as one of my first professors as a transfer student. He did not make the class easy to learn. His tests are ambiguous in answers and you get points taken away for being 5 mins late.

Would definitely take Professor Baker again. He has a dry sense of humor that makes class a little more interesting. Tests are the hardest part of this class. He's more than willing to help out every student! Make sure you never miss class or are late! Also, cell phones are NOT allowed & if it's out you'll get points reduced. He's pretty cool tho!

He should have focused more on conveying the material clearly than trying to make us laugh with lame jokes. I found his lectures extremely vague and hard to follow and was scared to ask questions in class. However, he is VERY helpful in office hours and saved me at the end of the semester when i messed up on my final project. Do not walk in late.

If you take a class with Baker either 202 or 300 be prepared to study study study and to really KNOW the material. It's not enough to just know definitions, but you need to be able to apply them in situations. Baker is a really cool prof and really laid back but his tests are TOUGH, however i learned more than i would have w another professor.

Hes a cool professor but the class is tough. I dont necessarily think the students should blame the subject matter on him. He was unclear with what he expected since he's such a laid back guy. I found myself getting frustrated at times but he is always willing to help. If you respect him, come to class and do all the HW it will show on your grade.

The class was passable but only because this was his first time teaching this class and he did not seem very organized. He is pretty funny and offers help when needed. In regards to the comments below, there were some students in his class whom always felt the need to comment on everything and did not seem appropriate (out of his control).

The person below must have been an outcast in my class because we were in his only psyc300 class. He relates with the students on a personal level and makes classes fun with his humor. He taught us a lot of very useful information and made everything very clear. I even got a job because of the systems he taught us here! Awesome teacher!

Not a very good psychology 300 professor at all. I believe it was his first time teaching it and it really showed. I felt like i learned nothing at all and he did a poor job at keeping the class professional. Students were cussing and behaving like immature children. DO NOT TAKE HIM FOR PSYCHOLOGY 300.

Professor Baker is a good teacher. Ultimately what you learn in the class is very helpful later on in your studies. Tests are very challenging! One writing assignment experiment. Overall a good teacher, not great.

Awesome personality, really gets to know his students. This is not an easy class though when it comes to tests. Used the book more than the notes. Notes he gives aren't very helpful. For tests he wants you to demonstrate full knowledge of the topics, not just definitions. I liked him more than I liked the actual class. Lab attendance is mandatory.

The ppt lecture notes were helpful while studying, but his presentation of the notes was always disheveled and unorganized; it was very difficult to relate to other aspects of class. The only way I got a B+ was by being GLUED to the textbook. He didn't even finish some lectures before exams, twice! Always talking about retiring. LAME.

Honestly made me love psychology. He is a really cool guy. Attendance was not mandatory when he lectures but you MUST take all his quizzes and turn in his book reviews. Basically if you do the study guides and study them, it's an easy A.

His class is pretty easy as long as you study! Study guides he give us are basically what is going to be on the quizzes/test so DO NOT bs the study guide. His lectures were pretty boring. His homework (study guides & essays) are very time-consuming so try not to procrastinate! But the book review he gives us is pretty easy..
