Took him for precal and was a really good teacher. he explains things to where anyone could understand. the subject itself is somewhat difficult but he's good at getting the information through. i would definitely recommend him.

Great prof!! He offers you 4 exams and you only have to take 3. There are 12 to 13 quizzes and you have to take all of them. No homework. He is very easy to understand!

He is one of the best math teachers I've ever had! He keeps you entertained for the most part, and he gives you alot of examples with different situations that you may encounter in your homework. This is definitely not a class you need to take if you have no time to practice or do the homework. Every point helps in this class!

This class was very easy. Just go to class, take the quizzes on WebCT until you get a 100 (unlimited tries). The tests are easy, just do the review which is the same as the test just different numbers. And you get a notecard you can right anything on (hint, hint). He stresses that ANYTHING can be written on the notecard and then hands out the review

I AM NOT A SLACKER! Or a lazy student. I went to the Casa tutoring, only missed one or two days during the entire semester, and took extensive notes. I still made a C minus in this class. He's a decent teacher, but the tests are extremely tricky and the quizzes are a pain. If you don't need to take this class, DON'T! Take it at a community college.

I already rated him for precal when i took him for that, but since he is very different as a statistics teacher, i think its good for me to review him on that. Larson is a decent statistics teacher. He tries, but the best help in statistics is the textbook, which is GREAT. By all means, take him as a stats teacher, but it isnt his best subject.

He's an awesome teacher. Very helpful. Ull enjoy going to class. He's funny. He teaches very well, ull understand the material. Sample Tests are just like the Tests. Finals is not mandatory if you are satisfied w/ ur 3 test grades. You can use a notecard on the test. I reccomend!! Hes awesome!!

His "Sooooooo", starts to get annoying by the end of the semester. Everyone told me that this guy was easy, but when I took him for Pre-Cal it was terrible. Usually teachers explain new material and then if there is time cover homework, but he works the opposite way. Explains old material and then tries to cram new material at the end of class.

This guy is funny, but I don't think I will take another class with him. He is very smart and knows what he is doing, but I don't enjoy his method of teaching. I wish he would spend more time on the current subject, and not spend so much time explaining previous homework. When I get ready to do homework or take a quiz, I am completly lost.

I guess if you take a lower level math class like College Algebra, then Larson is easy. HOWEVER, is you take Pre-Cal or anything higher with him, then you are SCREWED!!! He spends half the class explaining the previous day's homework. Then he rushes at the end of class to cover new material. You have no idea how to do the next day's homework.

He is AMAZING!!! Mr. Larson walks through everything at least twice. Tests are amazing. You get to use note cards and if you know what you're talking about, class will be easy. But come to class and you will make an easy A.

He explains how to do math problems very clear, and he is very heplful. but if you don't attend class and don't turn in hw and have bad grades on tests, you are still going to fail. Attend his class is fun, I recommand those who take notes and pay attention in class, you'll learn alot.

wonderful professor. assigns homework, but you do not have to turn it in. gives out practice exams which are very similar to the exams. no attendance checks, however stats can be confusing if you don't come to class. webct quizzes are easy, just do them! drops one low test grade, so you dont have to do final if you did well on the other 3 exams.

He's so great. In Fall 07, he gave 4 exams in class and around 13 quizzes on WebCT. If you do well on the first 3 exams you don't need go to the final. His exams very easy if you work hard on his practice exams; those practice are very similar to the real exams he will give. Highly recommend him.

PRE-CAL WAS A HARD CLASS WITH HIM. he doesnt have print outs like other teachers, so you had to copy everything from a chalk-board. He would spend most of his time, explaining the hw we had already turned in, meanwhile when you were doing your hw you had no idea how to do it, until the next day. He spends like 30 min. lecturing on a subject
