Really tough class to sit through, can barely be heard and is sometimes unclear about the material at hand. Its an easy class if you do all the assignments and study well for the tests, offers a bit of extra credit. Overall I wouldn't recommend this professor unless you have no alternative.

First of all he is an OLD SCHOOL professor. That ben said. Now, I must agree w/most of the comments, he is unorganized and talks in a low monotone, so you MUST sit in the front to understand wt he's talking about. His way of explaining things is also confusing. You will however get all you work back. BTW try to get extra credit! You’ll need it.

Did not give out a syllabus even though asked by students several times. Made up assignments on the spot. Told class he could only give out 5 A's, but as many A-'s as he wanted. Said the A's were decided 4 weeks before the semester ended (told us this the last two weeks of class). Don't know what that was based on. Worse professor I've ever had.

THIS CLASS IS BORING!I didnt study for any of the tests and always got a good grade. I used google for all the homework. This class is titled world religions, but we only learned about two religions.He gave us more homework in the last two weeks of class than the whole semester combined.

Show up because he counts attendence very high on the point system. Also, his tests are all open book! The greatest emphasis is on the workbook. Don't expect all your work back! Make sure he has given you credit or you won't get it because he is way unorganized! I wished he would have used Blackboard! It would have made everyones world easier

Ron Strader is the best teacher in Grossmont. He is very educated person. If you need to raise your score,please take him. His class is very interesting. You will learn about all the religions in the world. Heis very easy teacher. No quz, no test, just show in the class sometime and write at thi end some 4-5 pages about any religion that you like

Most unorganized teacher I've ever had. Great if you like teachers that lose your work then bring in big stacks of papers and expects you to fish through them to find what they lost! AND very very dry lectures.. easy going enogh i guess.. do the work and make sure you save it so you can confirm with him that you did it. Ridiculous!

The most boring class ever! Take home exams are long and hard. LOTS of homework for a 3 unit class. His instructions for assignments are unclear, and when asked for clarification it's only worse. The 2 big papers,you have to pay for the instructional hand out. Very knowledgeable and nice, but awful teacher.

he is really nice and has a great deal of personal intrest with religions and has bookoo knowledge. but his classes are super boring. we watched the same movie about 3 times. quite litterally. he's a good guy in all, but his classes are just dull as ever. lots of book work and homework sucks, seems pointless. but its whatever.. not too bad a class

Easy A! He's an extremely knowledgeable man, so he brings a lot to the table. He's a little dry though. The tests he gives are practically free gimmees. They're take home tests and as long as you were awake in class, you can get an easy A. The homework is easy as well. Nice guy overall too.

First the good news. There are NO due dates on assignments. Turn them in whenever! All quizes are take home. There is No final. TIP network with other classmates from the begining. Now the bad news. You must attend all the classes. His lectures are unclear and monotone. There are two 12 page papers. You must write all twelve to get full credit.
