Awesome awesome teacher. She is very passionate about her work and it shows. She's very friendly and super fun to talk to. Not a hard class and she makes it fun. She is reasonable in her grading, no tests. It's only simple, straight forward papers.

She is fabulous. Love the idea of movies being considered fine art. Watched amazing movies. She tells you exactly what she's looking for in the papers. No tests. No homework. Just essays. The class would have been much more enjoyable if there weren't so many disrespectful people in class-even with all the commotion-she's was a super classy lady.

The class format was simple: watch several movies in class and write six 3-5 page papers. Attendance is not apart of the grade (unless you're borderline) but I'd attend because she often gives instructions/the answers for the papers in class. Overall, quite easy for me. Just follow the instructions for the essays and you should be fine.

All we did was watch a bunch of movies, which was cool witch me because i hate art. Easy grader, final was a 2 1/2 page paper on a movie we watched in class. Explains everything u need to know about writing your papers. Some very interesting movies like 300, which was chill. Took the summer class and made it through alive, take Craig for FA 27!

there is NO hw. NO quizzes, midterms or final exams. there is a final that is a 2 page paper. the 35 page journal is NOT hard because you do it over a long period of time and it's actually really interesting. i learned way more this way then just taking some test. pat is awesome. easy grader, really helpful, caring, interesting. take her.

Very pleasant instructor. The course is held in the worst room, it is falling apart and so difficult to hear her lecture because of the layout of the room and the air conditioner blasting, the projector fan blowing. You have to write really long writing assignments on the material seen in class. She brings up very good subjects to lecture on films

Pat is great! She is VERY in love with the subject and it shows. I wasn't intrested in Art at all, but now, I can look at Art and apprecate it and understand it. A lot to write, but very intresting. She kind and helpful, If you have questions, just ask. I don't think is was an 'easy A' but with a little effort, no problem. TAKE HER for every class!

This class was a breeze while in class but hard while at home. You had to write a book sized amount of material in the class which was not easy if you hate a ton of writing. If you want an excellent teacher who provides many wonderful movies but gives a lot of written work at home, this is for you. This is a dream class for a republican; very rare.

OK, these people are INSANE, you have to write a total of 34 pages (and that's just the journal) You must realize the significance of 34 pages: that is INSANE, it may be an easy class if you pay attention and do everything, but 34 PAGES is a LOT TO DO. Just a warning if you don't like tons of hours of writing. Once again 34 PAGES, think about it!!!

Wonderful person all around. She is so sweet and so funny that the class goes by quickly. Watch lots of movies write lots of journals. The journals are just about your personal opinions on the subjects that we explored. Great class but a lot of writing. the journal was about 40 pages long! its do-able just dont wait till the last minute!
