Absolutely love her! She is intimidating on the first day, but after that, you will fall in love with her. She is willing to do anything to help her students pass her class. She gives extra credit every single day and most quiz's she wont let you turn in until they are correct. Very easy course. Just go to class & do your homework - you'll get an A

She is a great professor! I tried two other math professors before her and had to drop because they did not explain it throughly. She will sit in her office for hours and help if thats what it takes! I am sad to see her retiring after this semester.

I was struggling with math for a while, and then I had Weatherwax. Best Algebra teacher ever! She can be scary and is 60% deaf, but she is nice and always willing to help. I felt like I learned a LOT in her class. Attendance is a MUST.

I have told stories for years about my great Math 135 teacher from back in the day (roughly 1989 or so). Stunningly, Mrs. Weatherwax is still at Mo State. Best teacher I've ever had, literally TAUGHT me algebra. Only teacher I ever had that the class purchased a gift for at the end.

I hate math and i am horrible at it. Without her I wouldn't have passed at all. Granted I went in and spent hours with her during office hours, but she was willing to do it. She is kind of intimidating during class but if you talk to her after you will be fine.

This is an extremely easy class if you do the assignments and show up for class (lots of quizzes). She treated us like a kindergarten class, forcing us to make ridiculous noises and count to 3 constantly. I ended up with 114% because of all the extra credit. Grade Inflation much??

I loved her! She was a very sweet old lady and had a very quirky sense of humor.She gave 2 quizes per day,so it was important to be there, and there was lots of hw, but she was extremely helpful and gave every opportunity for students to succeed.

I love her so much. I was struggling at Math but she helps me a lot to understand problems through her lectures. She goes quite fast but you ask her personally, she ll explain clearly for you. She gives opportunity to good students to get a good grade. You may not good at Math but just show her that you seriously wanna be good at Math.

To say it simply: I suck at math, but without Bev. I would not have passed. She gives lots of quizzes, but she will help you get the right answer and she gives LOTS of EXTRA CREDIT! If you suck at math, take her. She is willing to help no matter what, but it is not a free A. Based on my grade, you can tell that. She is funny too. In a quirky way.

Weatherwax is by far the easiest 135 teacher. Homework is turned in everyday, but you get points for it. Not only does this help you learn, but it supplements your grade if you not good at tests. She also offers ec every single day, and makes sure everyone whose there gets the points. You will be reviewing constantly and no other teachers do that.

Take another professor. She is rediculously hard. You have to teach yourself the work from your notes at home because she goes way too fast. Homework every night (2-3hrs) and its due the next day. I had to spend so much time doing hw for her class it messed me up with my others. Seriously, take another teacher and save yourself the stress.

She's an old lady who just loves teaching (she's pretty funny too). Some of the lessons move pretty fast, but if you don't understand, she always stresses that she's available to help. She doesn't teach out of the $135 book, she writes her booklets, so you'll save a ton of money.

Very quick to get the info out. If you in the military and get deployed or about to, avoid this teacher. I told her in advance when I was going to be absent and needed a INCOMPLETE. RECIEVED AN F. Has a great personality in class but was taken back about the F grade after I COULDNT come to class because of OBVIOUS reasons.

Weatherwax is probably the only teacher I could get through college algebra with. She gives you 3 points extra credit on every hw assingnment, is very funny and is so willing to help and makes herself available anytime. If you are not the best at math I highly reccomend you take it with her!!

Nice & friendly, but does not teach. She simply writes problems on the board and goes way too fast for you to understand the problem.I have a really hard time keeping up with her. She doesnt take time to explain things, and basically you have to teach yourself at home from the notes. Two quizes daily. Homework daily. A lot of extra credit though.

She took over for my other professor who became sick, with 5 weeks left in the class. She tries really hard to help you understand what you're learning. I hate math and I actually understand it with this lady!! She is easy to talk to and wants everyone to do good. Attendence is expected, she gives lots of EC.

SHE WAS AMAZING! She was really funny and made jokes about herself calling herself 150 years old. She definitely tries hard to make sure you understand the material and gives you so much extra credit at the end, its amazing. highly recommended!

She is so nice and she cracks me up. She's practically deaf so if your phone goes off in class no biggy. Everything she teaches is sooo easy. I made and easy A so take her for a teacher she's great!
