Weaver is likely the best professor I've ever head. I came into the class worried about the difficulty, and left with a good grade. He was conversational, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. He also incorporated humor into his lesson plans without sacrificing the integrity of the course material. I highly recommend him.

Pros- Great teacher that cares. Grade is based primarily on class/homework. Hybrid class don't buy the book. I would take him again in a second. Cons- Links are often useless, just use Google. He uses plagiarism software. The final is the first real test. Take great notes and you will get an A! Turn off your cell phones!!!

Took summer class online. easy. Allows students to work at their pace. I was finished a month early. Everything is online and he provides links. Normal weekly questions, fun and easy discussion boards, and some interactive labs that help with the short quizzes. Great class. I really liked his organization of the lessons.

His online course requires no textbook, he just links you to recommended websites to get the information required to complete the activities. He sometimes misspells critical words or leaves out information needed to answer a question. That being said the teacher was a fair grader and I recommend this class to anyone taking Fundamentals of Biology.

Amazing teacher and very helpfull. Take his hibrid class if its open because it is EASY just show up to class and do some elemtary labs and you'll get an A. There are worksheets that you'll do on ANGEL but they aren't bad just annoying. He is the best teacher for fundamentals of Biology.

Mr. Weaver is a great teacher! He breaks down everything in such an easy way to understand, and especially if you're like me and aren't very good at sciences, you will definitely learn certain concepts that you might have struggled with. He's very nice, very funny, and very approachable. Just make sure you show up for class on time and do the work!

Professor Weaver was a fantastic teacher. Interesting, kept us entertained, and didn't even require a textbook. Took the hybrid class, and although it was a lot of work, it wasn't hard and I passed easily. Pay attention in class and don't bring your phone and you'll get an A with no problem.

He is the best biology teacher ever. He's super helpful and the class is really easy if u just pay attentions to his notes and review the chapter. He outlines everything that will be on the test. There are only like 3 easy out of class assignments. Easy A as long as you pay attention and dont miss a lab.

He is very clear from the start about what's expected of you. He does give a lot of work, but it's not hard. Write down everything that he says or draws in lecture, and you'll do GREAT on exams. Also very compassionate if something is going on in your personal life. I totally wish he taught BioII; would take him in a heartbeat.

Very easy class, and Mr. Weaver is one of the best and nicest teachers at BCC. The sites he gives don't really help, but the online work is very easy. No book required, and actually makes Biology interesting. Impossible for anything less then A+ in class. Highly recommend him.

Mr. Weaver is an awsome instructor and that's not because i had an A in the class. I took his hybird class and it was great! He will make sure that all his students understand his the information.
