Dr. Dulaney is a student-oriented professor; however, she is often not specific enough in her lectures and generally leaves students unsure. She will work with you to get through this class, but she grades very hard and leaves comments that do not truly correct your mistakes.

Dr. Dulaney is a wonderful professor who will really test your knowledge. I've taken her not only for research, but a lot of other classes as well. All of them are pretty much the same in that they're difficult, but if you work hard and ask for help, you'll do fine. She's very nice and goes out of her way to accommodate students. Top-grade prof.

Very good professor. Her class is difficult, and she's a real stickler about APA style, but she's very willing to help you out. All Research classes are tough, anyway. For the midterm and final, just study your class notes and you'll be fine. For the paper, make sure to get feedback sooner rather than later.

I took her for a really fluffy class, Orientation to the Major, which is basically a class where if you do the assignments and come to all the classes, you are assured an A. I don't know how she would be in actual classes where you have to learn things, but she is really nice and is the type of professor who will give you a ride if it's raining.

I'm not sure if Dr. Dulaney used to be a good teacher and isn't any longer or if she is just bad at teaching Research 1, but it was AWFUL. No one in my class knew what was going on. If I asked questions she said she would go over it later and not answer them. I have to build on what I learned in Research 1 for Research 2...and I learned NOTHING!

Not a good prof at all. If you have the choice take Christian End. You learn nothing about research in this class but it is still hard because she's a hard grader. You take tests on useless things and she doesn't really make sure that students understand the material, even if you go to her office hours. Take End!! Don't say you weren't warned!

She is one of the most dedicated and caring professors at XU.. I have taken several of her courses and highly recommend her! She likes to be goofy in class but still get class work done efficiently. Very helpful!
