I took Verbs, Conversation, and a Spanish elective with Srta. They were awesome, and I felt my Spanish abilities grow by leaps and bounds. She's a great professor and I heartily appreciate her high standards and thoroughness--she cares about the language and culture, and it shows.

Senorita treats her students like small children. She interrupts students' questions and condescends. Her classes are about becoming technically correct. She is a language technician. Memorize, regurgitate. She does not teach HOW to think but WHAT. Things cultural, perspective changing, etc. will not happen under her tutelage.

I took over 6 classes with Senorita Forrester and she is very consistent with how she conducts the class. THere's a lot of information and busy work, but the tests are very comprehensive of everything that she teaches in the class. She sometimes seems a little stubborn but overall she's a decent prof.

I wasn't a big fan at first. She can be very stand-offish and doesn't like to admit when she's wrong. Make sure you check your homework, REALLY study for tests, and ask about ANYTHING you have a question on.I think she's a good teacher, but I'm not her biggest fan.

Senorita is a really great profesora. She has teaching each class down to a science. I loved this course, although much memorization was required. She gives a LOT of homework, but practice is necessary to learn a new language. Her tests are pretty difficult but fair. She knows everything about Spanish culture!

This isn't Spanish Conversation, this is advanced vocabulary. She disregards vocabulary learned from real Spanish experiences (like studying abroad or interning abroad) and will get snappy toward you if you choose to use anything but exactly the way the textbook has it. Very cocky and without a Doctorate degree. No dice.

Definitely NOT an elective type class. Takes a lot of work and the tests are stressful in that her grade system is only A,B,C,D,F. No pluses or minuses available so don't get an 89.9! ADVICE: Memorize every word she ever tells you.
