Very intertsting to listen to but If your not that into politics and history dont take this class. Grade comes straight from 6 essay tests 4 are graded by TAs and 2 are graded by her. Very hard to get an A but if you write good essays she will bump you up.

Most rude unhelpful unpleasant teacher I have ever had on this campus. Not only was I belittled in class but suffered grading wise. Would not recomend her.She may know what she is teaching yet she lets you know it. Not one to be understanding or fair.

She can come across as hateful, but if you just do your work you should be fine and not feel her wrath. She chewed me out once, but I deserved it, much like everyone she chews out. Attendance is not mandatory, but you MUST read. I never went to class and did fine on the tests because I read everything she said to. Overall, she isn't for the weak

I liked her a lot. She cusses like a sailor, but knows a lot about what she is teaching. The class is a lot of reading, but if you have the sparknotes from online, you will do fine on the essay tests. I would take her again!

Very interesting class, enthusiastic teacher. Go to class, ask questions but only when necessary. Makes you feel real stupid real quick! Good office hours. Will take time to help you. Memorize lecture notes and exam is easier. Hard A, but learned a lot.
