Comment:

Attendance is very important because she lectures and quizzes you on the lectures every week. Tough grader, Im failing her class because I was absent a lot. Her teaching style is a bit confusing because of the way she rewrites problems. She does help by clarifying things, answers questions, offers a small amount of extra credit, and has no accent!

Comment:

I took Math 53 and it was a tough class and I am weak in math but I passed. Know your stuff, study a lot and you will pass. She helps a lot during office hours and gives chances. She is tough and sometimes lectures are confusing, but overall she is a good professor. You will learn math in this class from the ground up.

There's 1 quiz a week,daily homework, and 4 quizzes plus the final. It's a lot, but necessary to grasp the material. She went out of her way to meet with me and help me understand, so I can improve. The xtra credit was easy and got me that B. If you put in the effort she does too. Everyone makes simple arithmetic mistakes so she very understanding

I think she explains a very clearly on a subject. Though she tends to make a lot of simple mistakes, she does find them. She helps out a lot when it comes to hw, and basically explains during class based on what the hw is going to be.

not helpful at all. will help only those who have strong math skills. you're on your own if you need help. find another teacher who's willing to really help students and who really want to teach. that's why I went to school so I can learn, not be intimidated to silence.

took her for mth 65. even though i failed her class with a D, i still give her full praise because of the fact that her class is easy. thats the reason why i failed, because i took too much advantage of the laid back atmosphere and easy material so i thought i didnt have to study. i was wrong. as long as you study, you should pass her class easily.

I have never passed algebra in my life. She was very good at explainign things, and very understanding. She moves fast but does care about her students understandign the material. If you hate math and arent good at it, and want to learn it i recommend her.

very considerate, very helpful,gives credit on how u work quiz problems. long lectures, clear explanations. As with any math course or subject, the key is practice. math 65 had a lot of material to cover, I think that is what overwhelmed most students plus their lack of organization. it is not easy but it is doable. she will help if u ask for it.

Her lectures are confusing. She makes tons of mistakes. There is no test review. I have met with her on many occasions for help and somehow the test still have things that I don't know on there. I use the Math Lab, do the homework and the test throw me off. If her lectures were clear and had more examples I think people would do better.

Such a great teacher! She will take time out with you to go over anything you don't understand either after class or during her office hours. Lots of HW, but it's a math class, so you should expect that.

I loved math until I took her class. She is boring, not helpful at all, and she is dishonest. Her point system for grading is flaky. She only helps people who don't need help and let's the people who do need help fail. So, if you care about your future do yourself a favor and DO NOT take her class!! PLEASE DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!!

SHe not that clear, makes alot of mistakes. Tests are similar to the homework problems. Just go to the math center and know how to do the HW and ull be good. No practice tests or quizzes to prepare you for test. Only thing to rely on is the HW. She does not collect HW it is only for your practice.

She does make A LOT of mistakes on the board. Her quizzes are pretty easy but her exams are hard. She grades you based on a point scale resulting from Tests and Quizzes points only. Its hard to just pass cuz her exams are nothing like her quizzes
