Cyrus made this class really interesting because he always had his own stories that explained the concepts easy to comprehend. He makes you do four case studies which are not hard at all. He does not care about what info you put in as long as you apply a lot of concepts. CONCEPTS ARE KEY!! Easy A+! Attendance is mandatory!

A prof that went through the motions, but was extremely valuable in the information he provided. He had a wealth of work experience and was great at separating theory vs practice which made the classes interesting and worth attending.

Cyrus is a man full off wisdom. From the aviation industry so bonus points if you're into that. He is a fairly tough marker and likes to grill you with questions. Pretty much all group work. Take a lot of notes and keep your fingers crossed for a good group! 3-4 Case studies, a midterm and a final (all multiple question, not overly difficult)

Cyrus is one of the best profs that I've ever had! He always gives feedbacks! Be careful with the group assignments because everyone's contribution counts, if you have cooperative team mates, then you're lucky! Also, know your definitions and concepts very well to boost up your mark for the midterm and final.

I tried very hard to like Cyrus but there were a lot of things about his teaching style that put me off. He's very vague on what he expects with the case studies he assigns, and won't be too much of a help with anything. At least his class is an easy A.

Cyrus is a great professor with many years of experience in the field. He is very clear cut and as long as you read the chapters and compare it to his notes you will do fine on tests. When your group creates a paper make sure everything is in place and done the way he expects it (make sure its stapled) I would definitely recommend taking Cyrus!!

Beware of all of the group projects, we had 2 shorter case studies, and 2 larger projects in this class... And he does it weird, instead of each person doing a part of each project, we each had to submit the entire project done on our own, then make a group paper, which wasted a lot of time... Plus his classes felt so long and boring!

Really tough instructor and expects you to write picture perfect textbook answers on the exams. His presentations are complicated because the groups are really big and he expects each member to present for a long time as well. This is supposed to be an introductory course but surely doesn't feel like one.

This class was a waste of my time and money. It takes him an hour to explain something that should be taught in 20 minutes. Makes you do about 4 group projects in groups of 8 people which is extremely ineffective. It's really a shame he won't retire and let someone new and exciting teach this class because it could have been a really good course.

BORING CLASS. 3 hours feels like 10. He is so slow which made me sleep and I felt rude yawning lol. Hated his group everything, so annoying.

Cyrus is an all right teacher. The course isn't all that exciting and while he does explain concepts quite well, I found it easier to just take notes based on the tb objectives. He has you do two group projects, which is a little excessive, two other smaller cases, a midterm and a final. Take the proff, but definitely don't rely on his ppt notes.

You will get a decent grade with no effort but will need to read the book to do good. He covers two chapters a week in 50 minutes. So it is very rushed and the group work is very annoying. He is an easy marker on the projects though! Nice guy, I just don't like his teaching style - won't take another class with him.

Cyrus is a very nice guy who always cares about his students, and he loves helping students and smiling to students. He certainly expects students learn some useful knowledge from the class, but he also expects students fully use textbook after the class. He is impartial and decent. After taking his class, you will find you learned tons of things.

Cyrus is a nice guy who genuinely cares about his students and how they do. In our class his midterm was quite short, only 50 multiple choice questions. Though it wasn't a long midterm, it wasn't that easy either. Not terribly hard, the class average on the midterm was 70%. He can be a bit tougher on case studies though. Overall he's a decent prof.

If you don't like group work, don't have Cyrus. Your mark is group work + tests. If you are a good student, the large groups (7-8) for small case studies (1-2 pages) will drag you down. Good time management, 3x50 minutes - 2 breaks which is nice. Friendly, but stuck in his methods even when his teaching/textbook of OB contradicts what he does.

Wise and funny man. He spaces breaks effectively which means it's easy to stay focused. If you want a good mark on cases throw in as many terms, forumlas, and theories as you can. Tests are straightforward. I wish he would incorporate more of his own exsperience into the class, as it made the ideas very memorable when he did. I would take him again
