Comment:

Great prof and worth it to go to his lecture if you're a GMS major. Very experienced in the field and decorated and has a lot of great stories to tell you won't hear from other profs. As for examiniations, just read the slides and you'll be fine.

Comment:

The best prof I've ever had. No textbook so you need go to all the lectures. But it's an extremely fun class, shares tons of interesting stories and also gives clues to what's gonna be on the exam. Keep notes of what he says and you'll basically have all the answers.

The best professor in all of TRSM!!! He goes off on tangents talking about his life as a diplomat, but theyre always so interesting! No textbook, its all his lectures. The tests arent too hard, as theyre all short answer. Its an easy A tbh. Take him!

He is honestly so amazing, and caring. Everything he teaches makes sense, content is extremely clear. He has travelled the world, so he has a lot of stories, and relates it to the content. I've had him gms 400, and he was just as good. I love him. If you have a chance, take him.

Took Dale Carl twice for GMS 400 and GMS 695. Amazing prof and wish there was more like him at Ryerson. Although attendance isn't mandatory, you will learn a lot by attending AND he gives clues to what's going to be on the quizzes/tests. He is very knowledgeable and his lectures are not out dated at ALL . Definitely recommend.

Dale is so much more than just a great professor. He is a warm person, whose insights provide so much learning. He has a great sense of humor, is patient with every one. He has to be the best part of my time at Ryerson!

Dale is a real gem at TRSM! I'm going to say that class isn't mandatory, but he does give you hints throughout the semester on what to specifically look out for on tests! The course is reliant on his lectures, so study the material with a bit of memorization you'll be perfectly fine. This man is well respected because he respects those around him!!

One of the most caring professors at Ryerson. Wants his students to succeed and is passionate about the course content. Put a little effort in and you wil do wel. Three quizzes, midterm, and two assignments. There needs to be more professors like Dale Carl.

One of the few professors that clearly show passion behind what they do. Dale was straightforward with course requirements and even gave hints on what was on the test. I received an B+ and not an A because I skipped a lot of these classes as it is barely offered through Chang. Great professor and definitely consider him as your next prof!

Dale is the best professor at Ted Roger's. He is caring, and is enthusiastic about what he teaches. The course was 3 quizzes (1 map quiz), a midterm, a video report, and group project, which were all not that difficult. He tells you what to study for. The quizzes and midterm are short answer. He cares about his students and is easy to talk to.

Best professor at Ryerson. Cares about his students and his life in the Middle East, which is very interesting. One of my best classes at Ryerson in terms of interest and marks. Dale wants his students to succeed. All the assignments are fair and there are no surprises. He tells you what to study, and the assignments are also fair. Simply the best.

Dale's an interesting and intelligent man who enjoys teaching and sharing his life experiences with everyone. Very patient and soft spoken, he is also very knowledgable in his field. His tests are almost too easy, partly because of the content, and partly because he's so easy to follow along with. Be aware that there are quizzes thru the semester.
