Dr. Gaffney is worth attending WCC. She capitvates you into her lectures and reads. Gaffney allows you full reign to express yourself in writing any way you want. Expect class circle lectures and reading a poem about something deep in your life. Her pretty cropped curls and intoxicating smiles makes attending the class a pleasure.

I liked this professor so much I took her twice for English 101 + 102 she's super sweet and is fair with her grading. She takes awhile to grade but that doesn't bother me. She's so sweet and caring sometimes goes off an a tangent but it's all for laughs.

Wonderful professor. She explains everything carefully, and if you still do not understand, she takes some time to speak to you. Most of the time in a happy mood. The textbooks she uses are not too expensive. Strongly recommend her!

She is so sweet and down to earth. Her assignments&her quizzes on readings are not hard at all. Do the reading&know what you're reading (setting, get a feel for the characters, plot, stuff like that) and you will be fine. Its never anything so specific. Her journal entries are a pieces of cake. Seriously take her, She treats her students with care.

You read at home, you come to class and "discuss". You come home and write. I feel like I'm in a book club. She gives quizzes, essays, journals, and responses. She expects you to submit these writings in time but then she takes forever (weeks and months) to grade them. Kinda hard to tell where you stand in the class.

i took her class online and she was great! she was always checking her e-mail to answer our questions. tough grader, but gives great feedback and is genuinely interested in her students. she lays out her online class in a clear way, so you know exactly what you should be doing. definitely recommend her, shes sweet and nice too!

Great teacher, fun online class, very clear compared to my other online classes. She seems fun and I've never even met her in person! Definitely would reccommend women writers course! Fun discussions, great stories to read. She makes you see how other people's lives are.
