The only complaint I have is that I think he spoke English too much. I prefer when classes are taught entirely in Spanish. Other than that, a pretty average teacher.

This professor is amazing. I learned so much from his class. Attendance is very important and tests and quizzes are difficult and cover EVERYTHING.

He's a great guy. It's easy to fallow through if you listen. Listening is the key part to passing his class with flying colors. He goes over everything, you just need to pay attention.

Very nice teacher and he is very helpful. A pretty easy class as long as you go and pay attention. One bad thing is that he won't let you remake any quizzes but he will drop your lowest quiz score.

If at all possible, take him. It isn't the easiest, but he tells you exactly what you're supposed to know for the test and does plenty review. There's no uncertainty. He likes to call on people on random, but if you say you don't know it's no big deal. Only 2 oral tests and he gives you the questions in advance. Pretty nice with grading, too.

Great guy. Loves spanish, never gets mad, is consistantly in a good mood. Tells you exactly whats going to be on the test. Make sure you are good at spanish tho otherwise he will keep pressuring you till you get it right which can be embarassing and awkward. Defintatly choose him over any other spanish professor though.

Dr. Hartkemeyer is by far the best Spanish instructor I have ever had. He follows his schedules exactly as planned, as most days are spent doing different exercises regarding the main grammar point of the chapter. I think this helped me learn the material very easily. He is very nice, but doesn't help much in class if you give a wrong answer.

Dale is a great teacher. I liked him so much last year that I took him again this year. He explains everything really well, and makes sure theres enough practice before the exam. Also gives a lot of quizes/exams, so if you do bad on a few its no big deal. Bad thing is he keeps attendance, but he allows 4 days of missing.

He is a great professor if you really want to learn. He is great at explaining the concepts that are not always clear in the reading. When he asks you to participate in class, he doesn't care if you don't know the answer. He just wants you to try. If you go to class and try to answer his question then you will learn very quickly.

He's not a bad teacher... but he's not very clear all the time and expects us to know how to speak spanish already and to speak it perfect, no one speaks it perfect he needs to learn that! but overall not a horrible class kinda slow paced though

I really liked this professor. I learned more from him in one semester than I did in four years high school spanish. Keeps attention for full class period and not hard either. Recommend taking all Spanish from him

Easy class if you study. He drills it into and makes you practice a lot. He sometimes laughs at people if they mess up or say something stupid, but usually he'll work with you until you get it right.

Easy class if you're interested in Spanish. He knows how to teach, which is by repitition to an insane amount. He speaks softly most of the time, but has a good sense of humor. He knows the college life, and will poke fun at going to bars on friday. Excellent professor.
