Comment:

So glad I took Professor Lakevold's class! he's the perfect prof to be teaching an intro english course. He's extremely helpful, and is willing to set up meetings to proofread and make suggestions for student's essays. He is a very dry lecturer, but he does not notice if you don't pay attention so if you want to do something else you can.

I love Lakevold!! I took Creative Writing with him last year, and now I'm in Playwriting with him. He is very friendly, and very understanding. More than willing to discuss a poor grade, or give you a second chance. Always willing to make an appointment outside of office hours, and is very reasonable when it comes to extensions. Definately take! :)

I had 20th Century Lit with Lakevold. He is a really nice, helpful guy and also a fair marker. I think he may be retiring next year, but if not I would definitely recommend this class.

I really enjoyed his classes (I've had three with him). He was helpful and gave me extensions on my assignments when I needed them. I liked that we got opportunities to read our own work in class.

Very helpful, willing to help you revise/improve anything. Makes you feel comfortable. Very charming. And very pleasant. Grading is a bit tough, but not impossible. Kind man, clear professor, excellent to learn from!

There's nothing special about him, but he's not awful either. Very boring lectures. Talks as though he's contemplating what he's talking about. Fair marker. Says "you know" a lot. Learns names. A fairly nice guy, but not the greatest prof.
