possibly one of my best and most enjoyable teacher throughout my college career. I wish he had a blog to hear his current views on the national economic "crisis" and international(Sudan) scene.

By far one of the most interesting/impacting teachers I have ever had. Dan was quite controversial, and introduced some excellent arguments for and against common conceptions.

He has enormous knowledge in many subject, and he was very helpful to students who wanted to learn. Once class was dismissed early, he remained and taught some students who asked him for extra help. That was very nice.

class was very easy. as a liberal, I disagreed with a lot of what he said but you have that book report to push your side of the issues so use it. a lot of what he says is just common sense though so don't dismiss him totally. either way you will never be bored in his class.

Over my entire life, this guy makes the top 3 teachers I've ever had. He actually does this strange thing, called "teaching" and he expects you to learn. His greatest strength is probably how he manages to keep his classes interesting. Definetly

I took his Econ 120 & 201. He does not seem to accept the opinion that he does not like. But, if you can click with him, he would be the best instructor for you. (He often talks about politics, too.)

Great instructor, his style is quirky, but he knows what he's talking about, and tries to keep it short and sweet. Spend a lot of time on the book report/essay. That's where you'll pass or fail the class.
