Dr. Fischmar is very old school. He explains good economic concepts and theories but tends to be very general. His exams are easy and will NEVER contain anything you haven't gone over at least twice in class. He works a lot out of the book but not overwhelmingly. Comes off as boring and depressed at times but knows what he's talking about.

He may seem boring at first but he is a really great guy. If you show up and participate he feels more comfortable and class becomes more fun. Always wiliing to help outside of class and really cares for his students.

Dr. Fischmar is a really good professor who knows everything about economics. Although he comes across as very boring, he also makes sure students actually understand the material and learn. Willing help if you ask for it. Class is not hard if you study and have common sense. Fischmar's stories can also be quite entertaining.
