Dr. Cuff is a wonderful professor. The majority of reviews on here are from people who are mad because she made them think. Dr. Cuff grades based on what you're capable of, pushes students to be more willing to experiment and think more logically, critically, and analytically. I'm a better person and mathematician because of her.

Dr. Cuff may know what she teaches, but she can not teach it. She relies on the textbook to explain her material to her students. She does a very poor job of explaining the material herself. I felt I'd have to ask a question every 5 minutes to understand anything.

Dr. Cuff has difficulty connecting to her students in lecture. She is a very nice person, just not such a great professor. She is too busy with the logistics of the math department to be bothered by students. Her office hours are not convienent, and she makes the material harder than it has to be. Her courses are not enjoyable experiences.

In order to learn from her, you must unlearn how to learn mathematics. If you open your mind to the way she teaches, and acknowledge that you don't know jack and get some help from her outside of class, you'll do fine. Expect a lower grade than in HS.
