He was a horrible teacher, berated students daily, laughed at students for not getting things right, would call students out in front of the class for no reason, not allowed to use bathroom during class - would yell at you. Killed my GPA, never received less than A in dance class until now. Hated him. Would not recommend. EVER.

Horrifying. He does know how to teach dance, but he's NOT worth the effort. A 100 level dance class should be fun, not esteem lowering. Would make rude, unnecessary comments. Belittles people to make himself feel better. Don't do it!!

Very Biased Professor. Asked which students were athletes on the first day of class; then proceeded to separate them for the rest of the semester. I attended every class, was a solid dancer, wrote an extra dance review, and still received a "b-." Took first semester as a freshmen and was my lowest grade. GPA killer. Talks alot about his "patner."

I agree, he is unfair and unclear with his expectations. His idea of motivating is by saying that if you don't do well in his class he'll give you a 'C'. He is extremely biased and unreasonable. There are some professors that should choose another profession, he is one of them because he's incredibly awful at what he does.

He is a jerk. Do not take this professor unless you seriously love dance and plan on getting graded based upon your unbelievable dance performance. He is prejudice and pretty much a jerk. He grades unfairly and if you want to take dance as a fun class to get an A in, this professor is not the one for it. He makes class anything but fun or easy.

Dan has great passion and energy for dance that he clearly wishes to pass on to his students. He is serious about his class and wants students to treat it like a real class. He doesn't play favorites, so no one develops a diva complex.
