I took the first online Bible Doctrines class from him. I plan on taking the second one because I really loved him on the first one. He makes clear presentations, tells you exactly what he wants on the tests and projects, and is a very down-to-earth guy. 10/10 would take more than once.

His class was the first time I took a Bible 101 class from. I don't know where these folks get the idea this guy was easy. I think I would have enjoyed this class if it wasn't for memorizing the KJV Bible verses. I think I got 100 twice out of 20 memory verses. Epic fail! :(

Dr Troutman is great. He is sincere and does not have an arrogant or legalistic bone in his body. The class is really easy if you just study the notes and memorize the verses. He gives you the test questions the lecture before so you cant really fail. Also, his lectures were WAY better than Church. Funny and smart, but also nice. Highly recommend.

This guy... He is really good if you really don't care about truth. He takes the school's position and finds some way to justify it. He is really interesting and He'll make you laugh. I like him as a person, and I think he's a nice guy, but I wouldn't take another class from him until he promises to stop twisting the Bible to fit PCC's Theology!
