Comment:

He's kind of cooky. He laughs at his own jokes, and rambles off about nothing. You get confused easily, or don't even pay attention at all. But, if you show up to class, and study out of his packet, it's all there. Also he only has 3 tests, and if you do his little assignments he drops your lowest score. You'll do fine.

Don't buy the book. Pretty much told you exactly what would be on every test. Gave you all the sources you would need for the papers and tells you everything he wants from you. He really expects you to understand political concepts. Would take him again.

Bit of a quirky teacher at first, once you get use to his lecture(jump from one thought to another) and humor(which I found to be funny more with each passing class), and a professor who lets you speak about your thoughts. I like to interact with the teacher and he is good at that. Took a 5 hour class and was not bored at all, unique pofessor.

Fun teacher no doubt, but he's about as clear as mud when it comes to what he wants on things. Didn't tell us what to study for the test until the 3rd test(last). Hacked together his old material with new material leaving conflicting details in work assignments and later failing my paper for HIS mistake. 4.0 student, will be shocked if I pass.

I loved Dr. Roy he's a funny & nice guy. He isn't afraid to make fun of you & finds it funny when you joke back. He's not the easiest professor, but he makes class fun. He's one of my favorite professors on campus. You have a few papers and his tests are fairly easy (I got B's on almost everything and I'm a C average student). I recommend him!

Easy grading.grade depends on three tests,two papers,drops loewst test grade.Is helpful, will give extensions if needed.Gears the class towards political science majors,if your not you will probably be confused a lot.Overall a nice guy, little odd.Class periods are boring but everything for tests is in packet you buy.Tells essay topics befor tests.

He is an easy and straight-forward teacher. Easy A. But he is very opinionated and will waste your time discussing how he thinks people should act. Thinks he and only he is right. Makes a 1/2 lecture take an hour and fifteen filling it with his BS of stupid movies you'll never watch.

Prof Roy is a okay professor. His class is easy at times. His exams, you basically just have to know the essay's and not know the M/C and you still will get a B on the exam. Lecture are a little boring at times but he has some funny jokes and good stories as well.
