Dr. B is such a great guy. It's truly a shame he's retiring soon! His love and passion for what he teaches is unmatched by any professor I've ever had. Love the man to death.

Dr. B is an intelligent, hilarious, and inspirational man. His knowledge and passion for Shakespeare and the modern resonance they have makes you want to come to class and pay attention. He's an easy grader and there's only four tests the whole semester.

He is Hilarious! I had him for Shakespeare and he got mad one day and stormed out of the room! That was the best class I ever had! He's helpful, I got an A! P.S If you're lucky you can see one of his angry stupors! It makes for a good laugh! "to be, or not to be, that is the question"

I had him for my honors colloquium and he just went nuts one day. He was super cool the first semester and then the second semester he snapped and sent us all emails saying that our class was a bunch of babies and that he should just quit teaching honors. It was obnoxious and it ruined that entire semester because I had him three times a week.

Professor B. is by far the easiest professor I have had in college. Nice guy, if you show up there are some easing reading quizzes. I never read and got an A+ in the class because of the extra credit he offers on the midterm and final is over half of the actual test. Really easy grader, no papers, and no outside assignments besides the two exams!

He is very passionate about what he is teaching. He doesn't take attendance for college writing II but I urge you to go because he does remember if you were there or not. If you have a problem he is very understanding. He is hilarious if you actually listen to him. He can get off topic but who cares, his class is easy.

Ignore the people calling him a bad professor, come to class and pay attention and he's actually a really smart guy. Definitly would reccomend to anyone looking for an easy-ish A while still having an interesting class. The class is skippable, but I looked forward to his class every week.

Had him for my honors English class. His lectures are extremely boring. However he is the easiest English professor I've ever had. He says you can only miss three classes throughout the semester but I missed a ton and still got an A. Even if you do bad on an essay he lets you revise everything he didn't like to get an A

I had his class 3x a week, attended class less than 10x all semester, and still got an A. The few classes I did go to were BRUTALLY boring, and it's mostly him lecturing to himself & not realizing no one's paying attention. Does not take attendance & grade is based solely off of 3 essays written on texts from the textbook throughout the semester.

Shakespeare with Berardinelli is good for students who don't enjoy coming to class. He shows useless movies very often and the "tests" are actually just five page papers about the four plays we read in class. Essays can be done using sparknotes.... and class attendance is pointless. Nice guy, but bad teacher.

I have him for my Honors English Colloquium and he is fantastic! He's a bit eccentric, it's true, but he cares passionately about what he talks about. He gives us every opportunity to voice our opinion on a particular book, and unlike some other professors that I've heard of, he is willing to state that he may be wrong or doesn't know something.

He was awesome! He shows cheesy 80's movies to help get his point across. He is very opinionated and openly expresses it but allows us to express our own, and possibly open a debate. He is a very entertaining professor. I reccommend taking any of his classes!

He's a very eccentric guy but he's very passionate about what he's teaching. Lecture could get boring at times, but he explains exactly what he looks for on tests. I missed several classes and failed one test and still got an A in the class. As long as you remember what he stresses, it's easy to get an A.

Really good class. It was interesting and fairly easy. Write two papers and three exams. Really nice guy and if you get a test back and don't agree with your grade discuss it with him because he will usually change it to a better one.
