Professor Jentoft is a brilliant and insightful teacher. I count myself very fortunate to have encountered him in my freshman year so I was able to take more of his courses throughout my college career. His courses are not easy but he will enlighten you in regards to whatever topic he is speaking on.

This man knew a great deal. He was impressive and one needed to really listen, really listen to hear the value of his words. I am thankful for his grace, professionalism, and expertise. He will be missed. I now teach English and he understood that I could and encouraged

One of the best professors I've ever had, with a stunning breadth of knowledge. Tough, but one of the reasons that I'm now in grad school. If you want a challenge, he's your man. If not, feel free to get the heck out of the English department.

jentoft taught me how to write a research paper. i did ten hours of work on a 5 pager. i got an 'a'. he's not for the faint of heart. he is god. sorry honors students, better try harder...

He gave me my first D on a paper and I am a Dean's List student...his tests are so hard no matter how hard you study and he has a very disagreeable nature. I was grateful for a C that I practically begged for.
