Dr. Levine is hilarious, passionate, and all-around fantastic. He has so much fun teaching this class that you can't help but have fun too. H2P1 is very doable if you just do the readings, and Levine is very helpful in drills and accessible if you ever need it. Really loves his students and the material. This professor really is a 5/5.

Dr. Levine is quite possibly the best professor at the University of Arkansas. He is a tough grader and will pick your essays to shreds, but he makes his grading criterium VERY clear. He makes class super enjoyable, and conveys the information in a genuinely entertaining method. He won't let you off easy, but his class is worth the effort.

Talk about a guy who loves his job! For his class, if you do the reading then you should do well. He will try his best to engage you with the material and his wonderful works will present themselves to you. As far as grading goes, he is fair and you will get out what you put in. 10/10 would take again and will be taking again next semester.

Levine is a downright lovable professor. He's very eccentric and very interesting to talk to. You can tell that he enjoys every second of teaching H2P. I was in his drill section and I would highly recommend it, although it's hard to go wrong with anyone in the current H2P1 team.

Dr Levine is just an awesome guy! Yes this class is a lot of reading, but I always enjoyed it. Attendance matters and you will have a daily writing grade, but its not too difficult if you read your assignment. I would definitely take him again !

Dr. Levine is very funny and creative! He is well learned and just nice in general. The class as a whole is not necessarily hard, but it is very intense with reading assignments. Go to class, take notes and READ THE BOOKS. If you do that, you'll do just fine.

I love Dr. Levine. He's funny and kind of adorable. H2P is, however, the bane of my existence. There's an enormous amount of reading and, to be honest, the content just isn't interesting. Only take this if you're a humanities/classics major or a masochist.

Dr. Levine is a hoot and a half. A great start to my H2P career back in fall '14. A fair and honest grader who will make you work for an A, but will help you get there. Understanding of first semester college students but works to develop your skills. I always loved it when he would speak in Greek or Hebrew. A true gem in the humanities dept.

My favorite H2P professor. He's hilarious and loves to read to you in Greek/Latin. Very active/fun class, he really knows how to pull you into the material. I've decided to take Greek just so I can have him as a professor again!

Dr. Levine is a fantastic professor. He knows so much about this course and his lectures, though dry at times, are overall really insightful. It is important to read the books before his lectures, so that you can know what he's talking about. Extremely helpful during essay-writing and he is such a kind person in general.

Levine truly is an amazing teacher. He's basically like your grandfather if your grandfather was incredibly smart and made Greek puns constantly. Gives out stickers on all of his homework to encourage morale. Literally a cupcake. He grades very fairly, and fairly easily. Put in the work and you'll do well. He loves talking to students and helping.

Dr. Levine is pure intelligence wrapped up in a cute, witty old man. He genuinely cares for his students and is the easiest person on campus to talk to! The man gets to know you so he can grade based off of your abilities. As a history major, I'm dying for an opportunity to have him in class again! Future H2P1 students: TAKE LEVINE. JAYA!

Funnest professor. Classical Studies was so much reading, but gives quizzes and test prompts ahead of time. Would take again in a heartbeat even with a busy schedule! Most upbeat, funny, helpful professor here. Fills up quick! Take it if you can!!

This man can not be described in 350 characters, he is just awesome. From saying "good morning H2P everyday," to everything else he is just awesome. If you can get into his drill… do it! The class is not meant to be a super easy A, but study and read and it is doable. From my experience I would say he is the easiest of the three professors.

Dr. Levine is so cute in a dorky kind of way. He loves to teach! H2P is not an easy class, but he wants to help you. I was late for class once and he said "That's okay, I'm so glad you're here!" I love him. Very helpful and passionate.

Love him- he is well-known around campus and town, and this man is HILARIOUS without even realizing. His genuine love for Greek, funny history, and teaching is wonderful. A friend once came up to him after drill and said, "Can I ask you a question?" and he said with huge enthusiasm, "Ask me!" He's a wonderfully adorable man.
