His online lectures are very lengthy but he tries to keep them entertaining. I did spend more time on this online class than I have on most others, just based on the time spent watching the videos. He took a long time to grade, but I found his grading criteria to be straight forward. There are weekly quizzes, 2 papers, and 2 discussions.

He takes forever to grade. He didn't enter any grades until the last week of school. Grading was also very unclear and he gave little to no feedback. He was also very hard to get in contact with over email. I think he cares about his students, but maybe online classes just aren't his thing.

I took his online philosophy class and it was a good experience. He has powerpoints that he voices over which are helpful but a little monotone and boring. The quizzes were easy and he graded the papers really easily (I got a 99.5/100 on my first paper). He responds quickly to emails and overall it was an easy class and an easy A.

I took Professor Lee's Introduction to Philosophy online class during the summer and he was great. Class was very easy and not hard to manage. He was very easy to reach through email and responded very quickly. Not hard at all or a harsh grader definitely recommend!

I had Dr. Lee for a Summer class. Not only did I enjoy his Intro. to Ethics class but I am now looking for opportunities to take him again in the future. I'm not sure why everyone says he is a tough grader. He provides a rubric for grading and as long as you include what he asks for you will make a good grade. His lectures are long but entertaining

Took Philosophy with Dr. Lee online for 5 weeks. Great class, 10 of your best 14 quizzes, straightforward from lecture, two discussions graded easily, and two papers not graded too hard either. If you put in the work you will get an A. Not a hard class, very interesting. He appreciates quality work. Easy A in my opinion. Great professor.

He gave us 16 quizzes throughout the semester and drops your 6 lowest grades. He assigned two papers and two discussion posts where you had to comment on two classmates work. At the beginning of the semester, things were great. After the second paper was due (beginning of October), he did not submit any of our grades. Terrible email responder.

Do not take this professor if you want an A. He grades papers way too hard. I went in and got help from him on my first paper and still got a C on it. Grading starts to get better after the first paper and first discussion but still wasn't enough to bring me up to an A.

I took Professor Lee for an online philosophy class and I am really glad I did. He was well organized and his material was really interesting. The quizzes follow right along with the lectures and the papers aren't hard if you put the effort in.

The class seem easy enough at first but his grading is ridiculous. You will be counted off if your paper isn't exactly what he had in mind-which he is extremely unclear about until he gives you a grade for your paper (over a month later). Quizzes are easy but hardly count towards your grade compared to the papers.

Took him for an online class, the class wasn't difficult, he seemed friendly over email, but didn't put that much effort into giving us feedback on papers. Since it's online, its hard to speak with him about how you could have done better. Doesn't provide much guidance on what he expects of you on papers, and then grades hard.

The five week online summer class wasn't bad. 5 grades: Two papers, Two "Discussions", and Quiz grades (best 10 out of 14 scores so it was easy). I got an A. Really good professor, nice guy. Would recommend.

Professor Lee is a good teacher, aside from the fact that he grades incredibly hard. The directions on papers aren't given clearly and there is no rubric; however, there are no test, just TONS of quizzes that are easy if you listen to the lectures.

Professor Lee has been one of the best and ***most organized*** professors at the U of A, especially for an online class. I've really enjoyed all of his lectures, and he seems like a really nice guy. No tests, only straight-from-the-lecture quizzes, two papers, and two discussions. Highly recommended!

Professor Lee was a pretty easy teacher but he is awful about being helpful. Emailing him is honestly a hassle so just try to do your own on time and your paperdiscussions and you should be okay. He isn't a harsh grader, easy quizzes. Just turn on the lectures in a different tab and the quiz in a different tab and you should be okay. Easy A!

Prof Lee was a very organized teacher. Downloaded about 3 hours worth of lectures each week, told you what to read in textbook, and gave you a weekly quiz. He put an essay or discussion in every now and then, and didn't have a final! I never e-mailed him asking for help, bc the class seemed simple and straightforward. Easy A.

Dr. Lee is a nice man and has good intentions but he's not very good at explaining things. He was WAY too tough in how he graded essays, and focused too much on verb choice and other pointless details you'd only expect from a philosophy professor. Got an A but had to bust myself to make him happy with what I wrote.

Great teacher, clear content. Powerpoint's well put together, organized, to the point. I made an A in the class from studying directly from lecture power points.

I took this guy for the online PHIL2003 and he was horrible. He never return emails, he isn't clear on class material and he does not clarify assignments. He leaves his students lost and he is not any help. I emailed about the details of an assignment and he never responded; even after emailing him 5-6 times. I don't see how he still has a job!

Makes the material more difficult then it needs to be. Feedback is difficult to understand because he talks in circles. I would never take a class from him again.
