He is a good professor. The class overall is difficult at times so it helps to read the book or rewatch some of the videos he has on his website. He only gives two test and a final so you have to really try on his test but overall its as long as you study and practice the problems you should be fine.

A very effective teacher. Gives very good advise for your career. On his homework(online) he gives you 30 attempts on each problem to get the right answer. On his test, he give a lot of points for even writing down the right formulas. If you kinda show that you kinda know what to do, but get the wrong answer, he still gives points for that.

He was a great teacher for both physics 1 & 2, he gives very good lectures and is overall a great teacher. His tests are difficult, but that's only to push your learning. He gives generous curves and partial credit to really help out. Overall great teacher.

Awesome teacher! Helps you understand physics. Show up and show interest and the class wont be that bad. He works with students to help them succeed. Test are 5 hours on Saturday if you study and go to SI the class is pretty easy. If you skip class or blow off this class you will fail.

Excellent Prof! He has high standards; he expects his students to learn, but he is very knowledgeable, very passionate, and very high energy. Don't expect him to be easy, and don't expect him to be alright with you not mastering the subject. Definitely top choice if you're going into engineering or physics as you will have the foundation solid.

This guy is an amazing professor. Everything is explained really well, but he doesn't play around. Dr. Marble expects you to know the material, he expects you to put the time in and ask questions if you need help. If you don't put the time in, you are going to struggle in this class. Go to class, work hard, and understand. That's the key to an A.

Marble is a very hard professor. If you dont understand the material they suggest seeing the si. Well the si doesnt really know whats going on and the test preps suck. So much review material but very little on test. Iam glad to get out of that class.

Too smart to teach the class. Needs to be taught by a grad student. His classes are long and full of info but wastes your time because you'll have to do most of the work outside of class like read the book, do online tutorials, and go to help sessions to even pass. His view if you start to fail is that he is weaning out the bad engineers/physicists

I had taken and physics at a different college and I had such a hard time that I dropped the class. When I came to Tarleton I reluctanly took PHYS because it was a requirement for my degree. Marble is such a great teacher that he made physics interesting and easy to understand. I liked his PHYS class so much I ended up getting a minor in physics

Physics is rather esoteric and can be intimidating, but if you just put in the work, it's actually quite straightforward. Dr. Marble is a great teacher. His lectures are fun (I actually looked forward to going to his class). His exams are challenging, but if you study by doing the homework problems, they're a breeze.

an excellent teacher when he teaches and stops preaching. Class is organized as a self-teach with him leading the way so...read and do much more than the assigned homework and you'll do ok. An 85% is usually the top grade in the class and he'll curve to an A.
