Dr. Moriarty is honestly the best professor I've ever had. He really cares if a student asks for help, and won't leave them unless they have a full understanding of the concept. He has a way of explaining that is friendly to students, funny, and as long as you put in the effort (do HW, ask questions, listen to concepts) you will get an A.

He's an amazing professor, I would recommend him to anyone. He makes chemistry so easy and straight forward. His teaching style is more powerpoint and a little whiteboard. He explains everything on the power point really well. I went from C's to A's! Overall he's an excellent professor, I highly recommend.

I hate chem with a passion, but Dr. Moriarty makes you want to pay attention and makes the subject as interesting as it could get. His lectures are interesting, and his teaching is very straightforward. If chem isn't your strongest subject, definitely take him. Tests are department wide, but he usually covers everything that will be on them.

I suck at chemistry, but Dr. Moriarty was extremely helpful. Whenever I would go to his office hours he'd spend as much time as I needed on a question until I understood it. He always had cool clips in his PowerPoints, I loved it. He's also a very funny and nice guy. I would definitely recommend taking him.

Dr. Moriarty is extremely helpful in office hours and will make time to help you if you can't go to his office hours. I am terrible at Chemistry and he made it a lot easier to understand concepts and how to do problems. If you got questions wrong on a quiz or exam he would write out how to do the problem correctly which was really helpful.

I had Dr. Moriarty both semesters for Chem. He is probably the best professor I had. He is young and funny and a Siena alumni. He is very helpful and understanding. His quizzes help prepare you for the exam. If you study you can definitly do well. He is willing to help you if you put in the effort. I would take him again in a heart beat!

Very fair teacher. Makes sure you know what is going on at all times. PowerPoint Presentations are amazingly helpful, and if you happen to miss a class, they are online, so you still get the information. Quizzes are diffucult, and the exams are fairly hard, but overall, a very good experience. Better than all the other Chem professors.
