Doesn't really teach anything, usually will introduce an assignment then just show powerpoints full of examples to look up to (but usually very professional / hard to match). Anything taught was by the lab tech Jennifer. Doesn't really understand the difficulty of the projects she assigns because she isn't the one giving us demos / teaching us.

She doesn't know how to use the equipment that she's trying to teach us. She uses every little excuse to end class early, and at times doesn't even show up. She gets other staff to teach how to use equipment. I learned more talking to someone who wasn't even a teacher than I did in this class. She is lazy and doesn't care about students.

Plays favourites, is unclear, and confusing. Likes to think she's very helpful, but really isn't. Also is generally condescending to anyone who doesn't agree with her opinion in class: opinions aren't facts. If the whole class thought black and she thought white, she would still think white and dismiss black.

She really takes the time to meet with each student and ensure that they are on the right track. She really gets to know each student's style and works with it when giving suggestions for future assignments. Very open assignments, but she is a subjective marker. Lectures halfway relevant and helpful. Overall a great experience in her class.

Comment:

Incompetent in teaching some of technical aspects of the course. Spent too much time on content that didn't relate to the production aspects. Missed roughly 30% of class time, while also relying on other instructors to teach programs she expected us to use, but didn't know herself. I want my money back!

ineffective teacher, did not teach anything of value. it was clear she had no passion for the class. i was seriously concerned that i was wasting my tuition money by taking her class. the content was entirely unrelated to our projects, which were the only means of evaluation. also, her marking is completely arbitrary and unnecessarily low.
