Like many others here, I greatly miss Danine's teaching at UW. She is by far the most intellectually awe-inspiring prof I have ever had, and her teaching and personal character should serve as a model to those wondering "why dont my students respect me?" I wish her well in future endeavours, and envy those who are now graced with her presence!

Danine is without a doubt, the BEST English professor at this school. It is absolutely horrible that she is leaving. She can never be replaced. Her kindness, intelligence, warmth, honesty and level of caring, are a very rare combination in a university prof. She was a gift to the department. I am so greatful to have been a student of hers.

Danine is the best prof I have ever had, very understanding of students and their needs. She is very intelligent and knowledgable in what she teaches and has a way of making it all very interesting. Her leaving UW has left a huge hole that will never be filled, I know I'll miss her a lot and am sure I'm not the only one. Come and visit us soon!!!

Considering how much info she needs to deliver and how tough it can be, she does a fantastic job. Enthusiastic, creative, approachable and understanding. Yeah, her tests are hard, but she'll help you however she can - she wants you to learn and succeed.
