I took this class just out of curiosity during my first year. After attending his first two lectures, I vowed never to miss any (I skip most of my other classes). Very, very interesting class, and Mallory teaches it with enthusiasm. He also has a great sense of humour (a very welcome trait, I suppose). Highly recommended professor.

This class would have been boring as hell without Mallory. He's funny, tells students what he expects of them, gives pretty easy assignments (right out of the book) and tests, and is very approachable. If you have to take ENG1112 or any other English course, make sure it's with Mallory!
