This class had the potential to be so easy and he took it and made it as hard as he possibly could. His grading procedure is extremely unclear and his instructions are incredibly vague. I encourage taking this class, but with a different professor.

One of my favorite classes. He is a little vague with his instructions, but if you ask him questions about the assignments he's willing to help. Just make sure you pay attention in class and participate often.

Take this class with caution. If you like a lot of unexpected work than you will love it. He surprises you with multiple assignments and is confusing on his expectations. The big project at the end is graded like we are already professionals. Decent class, but other sections would be better I'm sure.

Do not take this class if you want to learn how to write technically, you won't. Very meaningless assignments that do not improve your writing at all. You have to spend your entire semester researching a problem occurring in Newark and then present it to the class (group project). Lots of wasted time is spent doing this. It's not hard, just long.

Comment:

Choose Patrick White if you want an easy class, but this guy if you want to be left with a wealth of useful knowledge. A LOT of work and writing assignments but a very interesting class. Departs real world knowledge and knows his stuff well. Fair grader, but counts the final presentation (so much work) the same as an average writing assignment.
