Comment:
The class is very chilled out and Tenenbaum just blabbers on for days. This is good and bad... It is very hard to know exactly what she expects you to know for exams. She gave us a take home midterm but a short answer in class final. 15 short answer final questions basically determined your grade. But, pay attention and you'll do fine.

Such a knowledge professor who is extremely kind and lenient. Totally understanding of what college students have to go through. 1 midterm, 1 term project (court case discussion), and 1 final. The midterm was take home and she was great with it - helped out students with discussion after class. Willing to help you out in any way possible.

She's a very kind person, and is extremely knowledgeable. Only a few readings and they're worth doing cause the tests are basically straight out of the readings. Do the readings, take a couple notes, you'll get an A- at the least.

3 assignments: take-home midterm, a paper and a final. She goes on tangents so it was difficult to tell what to study for the final. However, she is the absolute sweetest person and what she did test was a perfect representation of what we learned. Very funny and enthusiastic. Taught us so much about political science and the world itself.

Only take-home midterm and final so if you take her make sure you ace both. She takes attendance for the first few days, but then she stops. I would recommend going to class though because she says a lot of stuff during class. She ALWAYS tends to go off topic so you never know what's exactly going to be on the exams so listen carefully.

She is an OK professor. She often goes off tangents in her lecture, which pertain to the topics she teaches but is nonetheless not on the tests. There is a midterm take-home essay, group paper, and a final.

The semester is not finished yet, but she has been very supportive and the lecture was very interesting. Although I didn't have any knowledge of American Politics and Judiciary System, I learned so much and she inspired me to be more interested in current legal news and stuff. The lectures are mostly based on legal cases, which are very interesting

She was the SWEETEST professor I have ever met. Actually did make the class interesting and did really learn some new information that applied to modern politics. Final was a bit tougher than expected but I'm still hoping for a good grade. You definitely need to participate and she will love you.

Professor Tenenbaum knows what she is teaching and truly loves political science. Such a sweet, happy woman who treats students with respect. Lectures are pretty boring though but class is relatively easy. Midterm and final, that's pretty much it. This course is recommended. It is not difficult to get an A in this class.

She's awesome! Take-home essays are part of the midterm and the final, which makes it a lot easier. She never takes attendance. The final was a little hard and I thought I butchered it, but I ended up getting an A anyway.. just take notes on whatever she says, review the packets she gives out and you're set for an A.

She is awesome. Respects every student's opinion. She teaches her honors class as an open discussion. Overall I learned a lot, because she went beyond the book and focused a lot on current issues. She is into judicial system, so if law is not your cup of tea don't take her. I wish CUNY and Baruch had more professors like her.

Took her honors class. She's probably one of the best professors in Baruch. Really knows her stuff. SO helpful, and she doesn't like giving bad grades. Take home midterm and final & 1 easy quiz. TAKE HER!! And do not buy a book.
