She leads class discussions about the books and papers to facilitate understanding. She obviously knows a lot about Russian literature, and she loves helping students see the main themes of the wonderful works. She grades pretty easily on papers, a bit less so on tests, just study what she points out and you'll be fine. I loved this class!!

This class was very difficult. Although it was an honors class, it also doubled as a language class, so there was close to 30 people in it. The entire first half of the semester is about Russian culture, so be prepared to learn a lot of Russian vocab!

You have to love this teacher!!! You can't not love her!!! She loves to help her students, is very flexible, and loves to engross students into the subject. Very cheerful. If you're having a bad day, just go to class. You already feel good again.
