Best math class I have ever taken. Before each test he has review sessions that cover ALL the material. Very fair grading â€" even though I got a D on the first test, I still got an A in the class. I spoke with other Whittier Math professors before taking his class, and can definitely say he’s the friendliest. And he is (was?) the Franklin adviso

Garland is a crazy guy. He has an interstingly dry sense of humor. His problems can cover entire boards, which can confuse some students, but he also offers study sessions before big tests, so he is willing to help.
