Super helpful and fun ways to make you remember things. Wants to help ensure EVERYONE has the possibility to pass. Sometimes takes jokes too far lol but just pay attention to the lectures and memorize. your. maps.

Amazing professor! Hilarious and gives lots of extra credit. Material is not super easy but if you just study and go to class for lecture it's an easy A. He gets off topic sometimes but he makes it easy to focus on lectures, very caring for seeing his students succeed!

Great Teacher! IF you skip class you wont pass. Study and you will Pass. He offers a lot of extra credit which helps! You do need the book, very funny teacher and he is very passionate about Geography!

Dav is an odd yet funny guy. Even though his lectures on geography arent interesting, he makes class fun. There are 4 exams, including the final. There are 2 map quizzes that are pretty easy; just study for them and youll be fine. He offers so much extra credit too. I didnt like geography myself, but Im glad I took it.

Dave is hilarious and I adore him. He is definitely a kind soul who truly cares about his students. Also if you have any sort of (appropriate) talent, speak up! He gives extra credit if you entertain him. I manged to get my entire class at least 10 point extra credit throughout the semester. Take him. Appreciate him. He is one of a kind.

Hilarious instructor, lectures are funny and light-hearted. Reviews for tests are very quick, must record them. Sometimes takes a while getting to actual lectures because of the jokes, then rushes to finish. Overall, I learned a lot in this class, and you will too if you can bear the other stuff. Offers EC if you have a talent, must perform.

AMAZING PROFESSOR! He's a bit off the wall and crazy (in a good way). Gives tons of extra credit. His map quizzes are insane. But he's understanding. Take good notes during lecture. Just press record for his final reviews and study what he tells you to.

Big Dave is seriously THE BEST! I completely failed the first two map quizzes. DONT BE DISCOURAGED! I would have been so disappointed had I dropped the class. Dave is by far the funniest, most personable, and caring professor at COS. His lectures are entertaining, and he truly cares about each student. Get to know him, you won't regret it!

Big Dave is amazing! His lectures are information heavy but they go by quickly because he is the funniest person I've ever met! Hi class is a blast! Basically no homework. Gives you everything you need to know in the review before the exam. Gives a TON of extra credit! Almost impossible to fail. Would definitely recommend this class!
