I think it's hilarious that everyone gives Dr. Kurtz low ratings and says he's so hard. When Kurtz ran the show, the exams were managable and he kept his pawns in check. Now we're in the Dark Ages again with a cruel new OChem king (with an ego to feed). And oh, is he running a tight ship. Try taking a Myers exam before ya'all b**** about Kurtz.

Dr. Kurtz is one of the best teacher I have ever had. He is very difficult, but prepares you extremely well. Many are scared to approach him, however I have found him more eager and happy to aid his students than most professors.

you don't go to see him for help 'cuz you don't want him to know your name and call on you in class. he doesn't like pharmacy majors (95% of class), but he sure loves his chem majors ... i suppose he's your best choice for o-chem though.

this was the worst. not only was it a hard subject, but he catered to his Chem majors only. He made everyone else in the class feel as if they were stupid. When going to ask for help, he made false promises or made you feel even stupider.
