If I had taken calculus with any other professor I would not have gotten an A. He makes it very clear what you need to do to for each exam and even drops the lowest one. Best math teacher I've ever had.

Mr. Oberly is awesome!! He explains everything really well and doesn't spend time teaching u what u don't need to know. His notes translate exactly to the tests ("GTQ"-good test question). If u miss class-show up early to the next one to get notes from another student. Take Oberly if you want an A!!!

The easiest class I have taken in my entire life. I never even bought a book, and rarley went to class and made an A. He was very nice and helpfull if you need help. Homework is not mandatory and neither is attendance. His tests were identical to the review sheets and not tricky. However he din't prepare me for math 122

The Greatest Professor ever! Came to class an hour early for any questions. ALWAYS willing to help. Had crystal clear notes and never tried to trick you on exams. I enjoyed this math class and am sad he's gone. USC in need of more professors like this one.

Mr. Oberly is the best math prof. I have ever had at USC and I HATE MATH. attendance not required but if you want to learn GO TO CLASS. DUH! gives a study guide before each test and the final, quizes are EC, drops the lowest test grade. I got a 99 (did i mention I suck at math?) Im taking him for 122 in the spring. TAKE OBERLY! no regrets if u do

Mr Oberly is one of the nicest guys there is. He is a very fair teacher, and tells you exactly what you have to study to make an A on his test. He has a great teaching technique and will stop at any time to answer questions or help out students. Definately take Mr Oberly for 122

very very nice professor!!! offers help to students and tries to make calc fun. class is very easy overall if you took calc in h.s. basically just simple review. gives study guides before each test which are extremely similar to the test. cares about students and wants them to succeed. helpful and nice professor. Professor Oberly is the best professor I have ever had. All throughout high school I struggled in math, but from taking calculus with him, I have excelled and consistently made A's on his tests. He puts math in a way that is common sense and easy to understand and he is nice and funny. :) Definitely take with Professor Oberly if you can!

Awesome teacher! I def recommend taking him. I always hated math and never understood it but he made it so much easier for me and I ended up with an A in the class. He gives 3 tests and a cummualtive exam, but he drops your lowest test score. Attendance is optional as well as homework. Gives pop quizzes but they count as extra credit for ur tests!

HE IS AWESOME!! I am SO BAD at math, but I had him for math111 in the fall and I am definately taking math122 from him in the spring, even though I could take a stat instead of a calc. He drops the lowest test score, doesnt take attendance,but if you dont go you migh miss some stuff, TAKE HIS CLASS seriously, he is really nice and makes math easy!

This guy is completely awesome! He makes calculus easy even for the math moron (like me). Super, super helpful...he gives his home # for you to call for help with assignments or while studying. He's fun and interesting and gets you to understand even the hardest stuff, what more could you ask for?

Best Math Professor i've ever had. Gives 3 tests and a final and lets you drop your lowest test score. Attendence not required but it helps to pass the test if you because he tells you what questions will be on it! Wonderful teacher, take him if you can!

Best math teacher I have ever had. He will take the time to explain in detail any questions. He does much of the work for you including going over homework that is not required to be turned in. He is also VERY helpful in preparing for exams with sample tests.
