Great chemistry prof. Very passionate about the topics discussed and always accessible outside of class. He made sure to make 80min 8:30am lectures as enjoyable as possible. Tests were fair. I'd definitely take another course taught by him.

Professor Palmer is hilarious with his witty jokes, he makes the material easy to understand and doesn't give super hard exams. easy to approach but gives off a bad vibe in class as if he strongly believes the entire class has a mental illness. However, you show him you care, he will work hard to get you where you need

Dr. Palmer is one of the best professors for chemistry. If you get the chance to take it with him you will not regret it at all. His notes are perfectly clear, and the textbooks is awesome. Don't get me wrong it a tough class, but work hard and with Palmer's help you can pull off a great mark! Wish I could take another class from him.

Professor Palmer was amazing. One of the funniest profs I've ever seen. His notes are incredible. I didn't do any textbook questions to study for the final and I ended with a ninety two in the class. He really knows his stuff, is super sarcastic and entertaining and made organic chemistry (something i was dreading) my favorite class this year.

Very good prof. Clear and keeps the class interactive. Follow his advice and study the lecture notes for just 5 minutes (I reviewed the previous lecture while waiting for the current lecture to start as all the studying I did and it makes the lectures more beneficial). A bit arrogant, just try not to rub him the wrong way.

Palmer is hilarious. VERY sarcastic and witty. Only reason I went to his class. Otherwise, I was lost during his lectures. Read the textbook, then his lecture notes will make sense. Extremely generous with partial marks. Work hard, and you will be fine.

Is helpful, but you got to know about the subject. He will help you but not all the way I guess thats what makes student think. Is SARCASTIC, and can get annoyed easily. So know the stuff before you go for his class. Good at anwering questions.

Chem 255 with him was one of the best class i took on campus...i had nightmares about this class when i signed up...but palmer is GREAT..he seems arrogant initially but i guess thats just to weed out people. his exams are very fair and straight from his notes which by the way are quite organized...he is also very helpful when approached.

Palmer is a great prof...yeah he seems a little scary and arrogant, but his exams are straight from his notes. His exams are simple and straight forward. Yeah this is a tough class and it takes a lot of work, but Palmer defintely weeds out those that study hard from those that dont. Just work hard and you will get a 95 plus.

Liked his part of the course, but he can be pretty arrogant and is a bit of an academic snob. Not very helpful in the lab regarding tutorials, but answers questions in class well.
