sadhu binning was a pretty good instructor, not much studying needed for students who already know a little bit of punjabi. i probably studied about 20 hours in the whole 8 months and i got around 93% in this course.... very useful for those of us who want to learn and speak punjabi daily

I don't speak punjabi and found the course VERY VERY.. and i stress VERY difficult. You really have to study and try to memorize alot of it. I had such a hard time reading his scribbles on the board. As for the prof he was a super nice man.. I think he passed me cuz he felt bad. take it only if you're serious about learning the language.

good class but harder then 200. you can't fool around in 200 like in 100. kinda unfair when ppl from INDIA take the course b/c it makes those born here seem kinda dumb. but binning is wicked! teaches you alot about culture

Good course overall. The exercises got a bit tedious but amusing times were had. Sidebars in reference to cultural issues were enjoyed. If you have an aptitude for languages and know some basic punjabi, it's a breeze.

This class is a class in which you need spend lots of time memorizing. Sadhu doesnt really teach,just writes a few chicken scratches board. All the vocab and proper sentence structure learned is useless when applying punjabi language skills in real life.
